In the international market, the use of vehicles with liquefied natural gas engines, including the green transition in the field of heavy cargo transportation, is expanding rapidly.

As an example, consider the data of the Chinese industry:

• As of the first half of 2021, more than 600,000 liquefied natural gas-powered vehicles are in use, a four-fold increase compared to 2016 .
• As of the first half of 2021, there are more than 3,000 charging stations across China, with the largest number of charging stations located in the northwestern part of China / Inner Mongolia . These are used to charge vehicles with liquefied natural gas engines used for coal transportation.
• As of the first half of 2023, the sales of SUV-powered cars in China have increased by 214% compared to last year.
• The transportation sector accounts for more than 30% of the total consumption of liquefied natural gas in China .
